About the Course
Our Quran Hifz for Kids program is a comprehensive and carefully structured journey designed to help children memorize the Quran with understanding and proper Tajweed. Starting with the foundational Juz’ Amma, the course gently introduces young learners to the beauty of the Quran, gradually progressing through longer surahs and more complex concepts.
This program is divided into five progressive levels, each tailored to the unique learning needs of children. From mastering the Arabic alphabet with Noorani Qaida to applying advanced Tajweed rules and preparing for Ijazah certification, your child will receive personalized guidance every step of the way.
Level 1 - The First Steps in Quran Memorization for Kids with Juz' Amma (22 Hours)
In this first level, we gently introduce our young learners to the blessed words of Allah, starting with Juz’ Amma. This part of the Quran, with its shorter surahs, is perfect for building a strong foundation and fostering a love for memorization in your kids.
Introducing Noorani Qaida for Kids
Before children even begin memorizing, we ensure your kids have a solid grasp of the Arabic alphabet.
We use the time-tested method of Al-Qaida Al-Nooraniya. This teaches them to recognize and pronounce each letter correctly, which is crucial for proper Quran recitation and memorization.
Kids Memorize Short Surahs with Understanding
In this level, your kids will start memorizing short and familiar surahs, like Surah Al-Fil (The Elephant) and An-Nas (Mankind).
We don’t just focus on rote memorization. We also explain the simple meanings of the verses, so your kids begin to connect with the message of the Quran from a young age.
Essential Tajweed Rules for Children
From the very beginning, we introduce your kids to the science of Tajweed. They’ll learn the basics.

In this level, we move on to Juz’ Tabarak and progress through to Juz’ Al-Mujadila. These surahs are a little longer, and this is where your kids will start to see their memorization abilities truly blossom with the help of our experienced teachers at Quranica.

We’ll continue to refine your kids’ recitation, ensuring they apply the Tajweed rules they learned in Level one.

In this level, they will be memorizing from Juz’ Al-Mujadila to Juz’ Adh-Dhariyat. This stage focuses on further developing their skills and deepening their connection with the Quran, with the continued support of our dedicated teachers at Quranica.
Refining Pronunciation and Applying Advanced Tajweed Rules for Kids
Now, your kids will encounter some of the more intricate Tajweed rules, like Madd Far’i (secondary lengthening). They will learn to apply these rules correctly, further enhancing the beauty and accuracy of their recitation.
Connecting Verses and Understanding Context for Kids
Memorizing is not just about repeating words; it’s about understanding the flow and connection between verses. In this level, we’ll help your kids understand how verses relate to each other within a surah.
For instance, in Surah At-Tahrim, they’ll see how the stories of different wives of Prophets provide lessons about faith and obedience. This deeper understanding makes memorization more meaningful for children.
Regular Quran Review for Kids
Regular review is crucial at every stage, especially now.

Level 4 - Kids Memorize Juz' Adh-Dhariyat to Yasin (60 hours)
Your kid can now commit to memory extended Surahs and get better at memorizing the Quran using the skills they’ve already learned.
Developing Strong Memorization Habits for Kids
Memorizing longer surahs requires discipline and strong memorization habits. Our experienced teachers will continue to support your kids, providing them with personalized guidance and techniques to overcome any challenges they may face.
Kids review 1/4 of the Quran (takes 60 hours)
This step is all about making sure your child really remembers everything they’ve memorized and learned in Tajweed.
Level 5 - Kids Get Ijazah After Hifz
