About The Course
Our online Quran classes for adults has four levels. Level 1 lays the groundwork with Arabic alphabet recognition using the Noorani Qaida method, basic Tajweed rules, and memorization of short Surahs. Level 2 builds upon this foundation by introducing intermediate Tajweed rules, focused recitation practice with corrections, and memorization of longer Surahs.
Levels 3 and 4 are designed for advanced students seeking to perfect their recitation and delve deeper into Quranic studies. Level 3 focuses on specialized Tajweed refinement and comprehensive review of memorized portions. Level 4 explores advanced topics like Tafsir and Qira’at, culminating in Ijazah certification for those who meet the required standards.
Level 1 - Foundational Quran Recitation
This level of our Online Quran Classes for Adults is the perfect starting point for adults who are new to Quran recitation and perhaps have little or no prior experience with the Arabic alphabet. We focus on building a strong foundation, ensuring correct pronunciation of the words of Allah.
Learning the Arabic Alphabet in Online Quran Classes for Adults
We begin with Al-Qaida An-Nooraniyah, a proven method for teaching the Arabic alphabet. This method focuses on the correct pronunciation of each Arabic letter, its various forms, and how it connects with other letters. This is crucial for accurate Quran recitation.

In this level, we expand on the basic Tajweed rules learned previously. We cover more complex rules such as the different types of Madd (like Madd Muttasil and Madd Munfasil) which is crucial for reciting verses correctly.
An example of Madd Muttasil is found in the word سَاءَ (sā’a). An example of Madd Munfasil is found in the phrase إِنَّا أَنزَلْنَاهُ (innā anzalnāhu).
Quran Recitation Practice with Correction for Adults
We spend a lot of time on recitation, giving you personal feedback and corrections. You’ll recite verses, and the teacher will listen closely, pointing out where you can improve your pronunciation, Tajweed, and fluency. This personal attention is a key part of our online classes, making sure everyone progresses effectively. We focus on making sure you can properly apply the rules you’ve learned.
For example, we practice reciting verses containing Qalqalah letters (ق ط ب ج د) to ensure proper articulation of these letters.
